School SUCKS.

Well, I was unable to make it to California this weekend.. which really, really bums me out. I was so looking forward to seeing my friends and relaxing on the beach, but unfortunately school had another idea. I have a homework assignment due Sunday Night (Who does that? Honestly..), two papers due this week, and I have to take a Math Placement Test which at this point I am going to bomb on Monday. So.. California was out of reach. I'd rather be able to go to California when I am not stressed though, so I can enjoy myself more. If I had gone this weekend, I would have been stressed. I guess it all works out in the end.

So, I'm expecting another chaotic week at school this week. I just hope it doesn't get the best of me. Anyway, if you don't hear from me for a week or so, I'm pretty sure you'll know why. :P

YAY!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I got a JOB!!! :)

I went into Jenny Craig today, because my friend who works there said her boss was in. So, I went in and we had an "informal" interview, and she said that one of the girls working there is leaving for Chile at the end of April, and that they need someone to take her place. So I got the job!! She said she would give me a call a week or two before the girl leaves to start training!! Yeah, so I have to wait three or four weeks.. but I think it's totally worth it! A reception job, at $9.00, working with ALL college girls.. Oh yeah! :) I am a happy camper right now! Anyway, just had to share the good news!!

Oh yeah, and I'm going to California this weekend to see my friends! Double Yay!!!

Wedding Bells

Today we went to check out a few more places for the wedding, and also went back to Stonebridge to show my sister and take pictures. :) And the decision is made: We're going with Stonebridge Manor! Everytime I go to that place I fall more in love with it! And Chris feels the same way. So it's definite.

Ready or Not?

This week has been very un-exciting for me. It was my week coming back from Spring Break, and it definitely could have been a lot worse. I think I survived very well, and now I only have 5 1/2 weeks left of school. :) Oh yes, I am a happy camper.

My sister is here for Easter, and I'm excited! Tomorrow we have an appointment to go look at Ashley Manor for the wedding! It will be nice to have her imput and opinion, even though I am still set on Stonebridge Manor.

The more I think about the wedding, the more excited I get that it's actually happening. Chris and I have been engaged for a year now, and finally we are planning our wedding. A year and a half is not that far away, and I know that things are going to get chaotic really fast, but I hope everything works out in the end. I realized just how much money I'm going to need.. and soon. I have been looking into getting a car this summer, and I know that it is definitely going to happen. I figure with my budget, I can afford a car that is around $13,000. It'd be about $250 a month, which isn't that bad if I am working full-time this summer, (which I plan on doing). But, to afford an extra $5,000 for the wedding, a car payment, and an apartment for Chris and I when we get married.. I am going to have to work my butt off. I know it's definitely possible, but the sad thing is that I don't think I'm going to be able to move out this summer. :( I really wanted to live with my friend Sierra and her friend, Angie, but at this point I don't think it's a possibility. An apartment in Gilbert would be about $350-$400 a month, plus a car payment? Yeah right. It was fun thinking about it, but I don't know if it will happen.

Whatever happens, happens. I already talked to my parents about living at home for another year, and of course they don't mind. I just wish I could have some more independence for when Chris and I get married, becuase I think that's very important. At least Chris is going to move out.. I think he's going to live on campus and join Marching Band. That's 3 night practices a week, plus the game on Saturday.

I have a feeling life is going to be chaotic once school ends this semester.. I just hope I'm ready for it all.

So Long..

Well, school starts up again tomorrow. This Spring Break was pretty nice, I must say. :) I loved sleeping in and hanging out all day. It could have been a little bit better if my allergies weren't acting up all week, but it could have been worse! I am actually looking forward to school... a little bit. Only six weeks until I am done with my freshman year of college! That's so insane to think about.. Wow..

Anyway, not much else is going on. Maybe I'll update when something exciting happens.

P.S. - I did apply to Hollywood Video & FYE today! Cross your fingers!

Benadryl..

Hello wonderful blog :)

Well, I'm not in the best sorts right now.. I'm really sick from a mix of allergies and a yucky cold. It really sucks, because I can't sleep. So, I'm up at 2 in the morning, so I decided to write in my precious blog. My face/throat/ears all itch & hurt at the same time.. so as you can imagine, sleeping is kinda hard. I'm really tempted to go to Wal-Mart right now to go and buy some Benadryl. Why we don't have any, I have no idea. So, I am suffering right now.. but that's the beauty of Spring Break. I am definitely sleeping all day tomorrow.

This Spring Break has been pretty awesome. I love hanging out and doing whatever I feel like. I applied at a Coffee shop today! I am so excited! It's called Coffee Rush and it's literally five minutes from my house. I would love to work there, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully I will get a call in the next couple days. I am so ready to have a job.. but it seems like God is holding me out for something, cause I thought twice now that jobs would go through, and they haven't. Patience, I suppose.

I really do love this blog. It helps relieve a lot of stress and anxiety.. So I think I'll keep it going. :) Anyway, I'm gonna watch the Food Network until morning.. Yay! Good night!

Spring Break!

It's been a while since I have blogged, and I apologize for that. School has been pretty chaotic, and I just needed to focus for the last two weeks. So, finally it is Spring Break!! I am so excited to just lay around and hang out. I have been waiting for this for 8 weeks now, heh. I think it will help a lot to relax, so I can focus on the rest of the school year - a total of 6 1/2 weeks - and achieve what I want.

So, my mom, dad, me and chris all went "Wedding" shopping, haha. Or in other words, we looked for places to have the ceremony/reception, and I think we totally found it! It's called Stonebridge Manor, and it is so gorgeous! Both the ceremony and reception would be outside, with trees and grass, and a gazebo.. It's so pretty, and the cost is well worth it, seeing as how it comes with everything! Cake, Photography, DJ, Linens, Catering, Flowers, EVERYTHING. I think in a few weeks we are going to check out some other places, but my heart is set on Stonebridge. So pretty!

Not much else going on other than that! I hope I have a great Spring Break and I'll keep you updated! :)
