Chaos Most of the Time

Happy Birthday to my baby niece, Evie!! I can't believe she's a year old already! It's insane how fast time has flown by..

Speaking of timing. School is almost over for the semester! I have two weeks from today, before I have complete freedom for this summer! The past couple weeks have been insane, and I know the next two will be even more crazy, but the end of it all is coming so quickly, that I have hope. 

I applied to another Vet Clinic on Monday. They're hiring Receptionists, and since I have NOTHING going on this summer, I put down that I could work full time, any time they needed me. I'm praying, praying that something will come of it! Pray, pray, pray!! 

Other than those couple of things, absolutely nothing is going on. I'll update when the chaos is finally over..

Max the.. Torturer?

Just a quick update. :)

Things are going well.. I'm super busy right now. School is winding down, but also launching off in things to do. I still have tests, finals, and papers to accomplish before I can call this year a wrap in school. Hopefully these next 3 1/2 weeks will be good ones!

Nothing else happening right now. Max (my new cat) has a tendancy to be extremely needy in the mornings. I'm not talking like 8 o'clock in the morning. No, we're talking about 6 o'clock. For some reason, he comes into my room on the dot, and starts meowing like he's dying. He jumps on me, claws at me, demanding attention. Most of the time I have no choice but to just give into his demands, and get up. Which, I guess I really don't mind, seeing as how I go to bed so early. But, for the first ten or fifteen minutes, I am so upset with him. Once I see how happy he is though, just cuddling with me and purring away, my heart melts and I don't feel so upset. That's what naps are for, right? :)

Update on the Chaos

Alright, since I have a couple hours to relax this morning, I thought I would update my journal (finally). It's been almost a month since I last wrote.. and yes, it's been that crazy. :)

Things are perfect right now! Even though school is almost done (and therefore equals chaotic), my wedding is in 6 months, and I'm volunteering like crazy, life is really, really good! I think I found a happy balance between everything. So, let's start with school first..

I only have about a month left of my Sophomore year in college. I can't believe how fast times flies by.. It's crazy to think that in two years I'm going to be graduating from this awesome university, and then I'll be entering in the work force with a salary and a set schedule! But what's even weirder is that next year around this time, we'll be preparing for Chris's graduation! Crazy!! Anyway.. School is great! Classes are going great! Getting A's and B's in ALL my classes, which is crazy to think about, since I'm a Bio major. Finals are about 3 weeks away. Here's an example of just how insane these next 4 weeks are going to be: In my chemistry class, we still have 3 tests to take. In 4 weeks. I have one next week, two weeks later I have another, and then one week after that I have my Final. But, I'm at peace at where I'm at in my classes. I'm not stressing out...

My wedding is in 6 1/2 months!! We just received the Save-The-Dates on Tuesday, so today I am putting the magnets together and starting on addresses. :) They're really cute! Other than that, all we have left to do is meet with the Caterer.. I think that's it! I'm practically stress-free on this subject! 

Everyday I get more excited about the wedding. I've been dreaming about it A LOT! Most of the time they're happy dreams, other times not so much. (I like the happy ones!). I think Chris is really excited, too.. He talks a lot about it! We started talking about our apartment, and paint colors, and what we need. I think we might start a registry at Target around August.. but honestly, we don't need a whole lot. It'll probably be a lot of kitchen stuff and decorative things. 

Volunteering at the Phoenix Zoo is going great! I work there every Saturday (which for me is crazy! I have a lot of stuff to do on the weekends), from 9-1. Mike, my supervisor is a really nice guy, and I have told him that if any part-time/full-time positions open up for this summer, that I am very interested in them. I currently still work in Monkey Village, but I think I might be switching around in a couple weeks when school ends. Hopefully I will be able to work multiple days throughout the week! Today I have New Volunteer Orientation, from 10-3. After that I'm going to work on the Save-The-Dates, and hang out with my dad! My mom is in Iowa for Easter and to help my Grandma with some things.. so it's just going to be him and I! 

Well, that's pretty much all going on right now.. I thought I would stop in and update so you know I'm alive and well. :)
